About Anese Cavanaugh
Anese is the founder of Active Choices, Inc., creator of the IEP Method®, and founder of the Positive Energy Workplace Initiative®. She’s the author of Contagious Culture, Contagious You, and The Leader You Will Be.
Her expertise includes executive presence, leadership development, culture transformation, behavior change, crisis management, creative leadership, and energy accountability. She’s worked with corporate, entrepreneurial, nonprofit, and government sectors — from Fortune 500 boardrooms to emerging startups. While she has worked with a wide variety of industries over the last 23 years, she finds that her work is accelerated and most intuitively integrated with leaders in tech, innovation, and design.

Private work with Anese begins with a minimum 3-month engagement, with the option to extend as needed.

Formal sessions every other week or monthly (50–90 minutes)

Between-session support via Voxer/text/email for real-time input when decisions need to be made or challenges arise

Each engagement is co-created to match your leadership style, context, challenges, and goals. While the structure is flexible, the foundation is consistent: the IEP Method® and a focus on sustainable transformation (not temporary performance boosts).

Continuing support (optional)
After your foundational work, you’re welcome to move into a month-to-month retainer arrangement.

Private coaching spots are intentionally limited (typically 3–5 clients at a time), and availability is reserved on a first-come basis.
Before scheduling a conversation, we’ll ask you to complete a short application. This helps us understand what you need, determine whether private work with Anese is the right fit, and ensure the conversation is focused and useful. Please share as much as you can — your responses are confidential.
What to Expect
- Submit the application.
- Our team will review your responses and follow up with next steps, regardless of fit.
- If it looks aligned, we’ll invite you to schedule a discovery conversation to explore your goals, context, and what support would be most useful.
- If both sides decide to move forward, we’ll send a proposed engagement plan, investment details, and start date.
- You’ll sign the Private Coaching Agreement and submit any fees due.
- We begin — and you’ll receive onboarding details to start your work with Anese.
